AI/ML Researcher & Applied Engineer
Summary
I am currently working as an ML/Computer Vision Engineer, developing an in-house clinical LLM with supporting tooling and Computer Vision diagnostic scanning applications for Android and iOS.
I received my Master's in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Spring 2026, with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence. I completed my Bachelor's with majors in Computer Science, Economics, and Philosophy at Case Western Reserve University in 2022.
Research
Concurrently, I lead research at the Georgia Institute of Technology on the clinical conditions that cause segmentation models to fail, specifically whether post-stroke brain lesion models hold up under MRI motion artifacts. This work was accepted for publication at IEEE BIBM 2026. The preprint is available here.
Other research projects I'm involved with:
- Research fellow with SPAR Research, working with Dr. Zhamilia Klycheva on Loss of Human Agency in the Age of Advanced AI – An Agent-Based Model.
- Independent research on the influence of AI and visualizations on human decision-making. The pilot study is available here.
- Research project with a colleague on optimizing expert model loading to increase access to open models.
Previous Experience
Previously, I was a Data Analyst and Engineer at Inspire Brands, where I worked across data engineering and ML-assisted analytics for some of the largest restaurant brands in the country. Before that, I was a Data Science consultant for the California Department of Housing, developing predictive algorithms to improve access to affordable housing. During undergrad, I was both a Computer Vision researcher and a teaching assistant across multiple departments and courses.
